Happy Holidays!
Happy New Year! The kids had a great Hanukah this year. We celebrated with family and friends. Leila was on the local news at the candle lighting.
We are going to a few x-mas celebrations as well. Here is Leila at Lamberton Conservatory.
We will have some exciting pictures to share in the new year so stay posted.

Karina (October 1996-November 2012)
Karina (October 1996-November 2012)
by Grandma Elaine
Karina, you are legend.
Word of your antics and
Psycho-kitty nick-name
spread long before we met.
You were light on your feet.
Up to a table, chair, or couch
you would leap –up to anywhere
people gathered to talk and to eat.
Some say you were aloof,
not one to cuddle and hold.
Maybe you were just free.
You were free and very bold.
You made your presence known;
then you took off like a lark!
And now forever, Karina, you
leave your paw prints in our hearts.

Happy October!
It has been a gorgeous October and we have taken full advantage of it. L is dressing up as Merida from Brave and Charlie and I are going as her mother and brother who turned into bears. She already had a change to wear it at a pre-school friends party, Fairport Halloween parade, Strong Museum Halloween party, Moms group Halloween party at Cobble Creek farms. Good thing to because we are expecting a big storm this week so not sure how successful it will be on Halloween day. We have a lot of pumpkins on our porch this year so hopefully they won't blow away. (we carved one and painted another) Leila and Charlie have Halloween parties at school/daycare on Wed so at least they will have that.
In other news, Leila got her hair cut and wore ribbons in her hair a few days in a row (this is a big deal for her). We had a nice visit with Uncle Michael and Aunt Briony which included making applesauce as a family.
Here are some pics to enjoy:

September Roundup!
It has been a busy month! Leila started Kindergarden. She is doing really well, likes her teacher and we have made the bus every morning so far.
We celebrated Leila's birthday with her friends at long acre farms and made a trip to Grow Moore farms (leila picked out a pumpkin that was bigger than her!)
Leila joined the girl scouts, she has her first Daisy troop meeting on Thursday.
We went to services at RIT Hillel for Rosh Hashanah and to a local temple for a kids service on Yom Kippur. Grandma Gail had us over for a holiday meal and Leila even tried scalion matzo balls.
Shevah's great aunt Fofo passed away this month in her 90s. She will be missed.
Charlie is doing well. He is 20 months old already is still an easy going kid.
Here are some pictures of our adventures:
