Wedding Bells

We went to another wedding this weekend and this time Leila came along to the reception, even though she is still not feeling 100% percent. She was a big hit and even danced with the bride before falling asleep on the dance floor. We even got to swing dance a few times which was nice. A good time was had by all.

At the beach

We just got back after spending the weekend in Cape Cod. We brought grandma along to babysit while we went to a wedding of my college friend. Here are the highlights:

Hanging out at grandma and grandpa's house yesterday. Leila got her first tooth which was unfortunately accompanied with a fever.





Our little beach bum liked splashing in the bay and eating sand.

9 month check-up

Leila had her 9 month check-up today. She is 27 3/4 inches tall (25%), 14 pounds and 15 ounces (10%) and her head circumference is 17 3/8 (75%). Conclusion: She has a big head and little arms.

Moving forward and stepping up

Leila has passed a few milestones recently. Ella aprendió gatear en el Cinco de Mayo...¡Olé!

More recently, she took a step up in this world, opening up whole new spaces to explore, or at least the rest of our ground floor, as you'll see.

Summer approaching

Summer will soon be upon us, preceded this past weekend at least by a run of 90 degree days, which Leila likes, since she gets more "crazy little naked person" time...or at least, crazy little diapered person time.
