Leila and I finally returned home after visiting family. Her father was very happy to have us back, and not just because he did not cook himself dinner for a week. She had a few cranky days that we think were due to teething, but still no teeth in sight.
Here are some pictures from our recent adventures:
Leila celebrated her parents' anniversary at the Cheesecake factory:
Leila loves her walker (thank you Auntie Suzie and Uncle Ken). She now zips around the kitchen. Our little Pebbles.
Leila and her great grandfather hang out in their wheels at the rehabilitation center. He is not happy to be in rehab, no, no no. Leila learned to shake her head no from him and now does this every time someone asks a question.
We also visited her great-grandmother and she was a big hit with the residents. They all thought she was a "boychick" for some reason so we had to keep repeating no she's a maidel.
Following in her mother's footsteps, Leila tries to eat a flower. She enjoyed her first Lilac festival in Rochester. We enjoyed the music of Beausoleil with friends from Baltimore.

Biter biscuits
Leila would like to endorse Gerber Graduates Biter Biscuits, which are not only tasty, but can moisturize your entire body to a baby-soft condition:

In the swim
We couldn't let Leila's swim class go by without some pictures, so here are a couple of her and her dad, taken during "The Grand Old Duke of York" and "I'm a little flapjack", respectively. If you want an explanation, well, you'll have to call us, or take a child to swim class yourself...

Here is Leila and I on mothers day in front of the canal:
Here are some pictures of the house, now that we have mowed our lawn and trimmed the bushes (and by we I mean Josh):
They are hard to spot but Josh and Leila are under the tree.

It is all happening at the zoo
Leila took her first visit to the zoo recently. She thought the other kids running around were the most interesting, but she did make friends with a sea lion.
